RESPONSIBILITIES
The Head of School of Grove City Christian will lead in a collaborative but appropriately
executive mode. The Head of School’s responsibilities are primarily and ultimately to develop
and implement the strategic plan of the school, but the following list details the various
responsibilities that are woven into the role.

Promotes the development of a servant’s heart among staff to facilitate ministry to the
organization.
Oversees the spiritual aspects of the childcare and school in cooperation with the
pastoral staff of the church and nurtures positive relationships with children, students,
staff, faculty, families, and the community at large.
Oversees all administrative, early childhood, academic, and related programs to achieve
a complete Christian worldview and educational experience in students ranging from six
weeks old through grade 12.
Oversees and implements the continuous improvement plan process, strategic planning,
and campus development.
Collaboratively establishes and meets performance goals and objectives with the
Education Committee.
Commits to maintaining excellent relationships with parents, faculty, staff, students,
committees, and the leadership staff of the The Naz.
Promotes a warm Christ-centered atmosphere within the educational environments.
Maintains a collaborative process in decision-making consistent with the policies as
outlined in the Grove City Church of the Nazarene Employee Handbook and Education
Policy Manual.
