QUALIFICATIONS<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will be a person who has received Jesus Christ as Lord <strong>and</strong> Savior <strong>and</strong><br />
one who will become a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>Grove</strong> <strong>City</strong> Church <strong>of</strong> the Nazarene (The Naz Church).<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will hold a bachelor’s degree <strong>and</strong> advanced degree (master’s degree<br />
required) from an accredited institution <strong>and</strong> will hold an Ohio certification in school<br />
administration (or have the ability to obtain one within a year). The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will have<br />
or be willing to obtain an ACSI administrator certification.<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will have completed a minimum <strong>of</strong> five years demonstrating leadership<br />
in the operations <strong>of</strong> private/public sector organizations. Experience developing <strong>and</strong><br />
improving a <strong>Christian</strong> school or public school is desired.<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will be called by God <strong>and</strong> be committed to <strong>Christian</strong> education. He<br />
or she will seek to be a <strong>Christian</strong> role model in attitude, speech, <strong>and</strong> actions through a<br />
consistent daily relationship with Jesus Christ.<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will be an experienced administrator <strong>and</strong> proactive leader who<br />
demonstrates continuous improvement <strong>of</strong> all aspects <strong>of</strong> a <strong>Christian</strong> school: spiritual<br />
leadership <strong>and</strong> advocacy, strategic planning, budgeting <strong>and</strong> finance, <strong>and</strong> comprehensive<br />
<strong>of</strong>ferings for student curriculum <strong>and</strong> instruction.<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will be committed to living his or her life for Christ <strong>and</strong> evidences this<br />
by seeking discernment, wisdom, <strong>and</strong> guidance through prayer <strong>and</strong> reliance on Scripture.<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will demonstrate evidence <strong>of</strong> spiritual leadership within his or her<br />
current <strong>and</strong>/or previous institutions, churches, or organizations.<br />
• The <strong>Head</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>School</strong> will have a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ that is reflected in his<br />
or her speech, actions <strong>and</strong> attitudes.
