...346Concept 3: The VortexA Vortex is a term most used to describe a movement due to acentral feild. In fluid dynamics, a vortex is a region in a fluid in which theflow revolves around an axis line, which may be straight or curved. Scientistsoften study vortices because they are powerful forces of nature thatdefy gravity and the laws of physics.Conceptually, a Vortex can be also explained through architecture.It could be described as a mass that often utilises a strong central core(main program and structure) with the other sub-programmatic elementsserving it all around. The use of spirals in architecture is a good representationof this idea.
