• Tuesdays in the Vestry Hall
Coffee mornings – 10–11.45am
CaDAC’s weekly coffee mornings go from
strength to strength! Everyone is very
welcome to join us on Tuesday mornings
in the Vestry Hall where they’ll find a warm
welcome and unlimited tea, coffee and
biscuits for a suggested donation of just £1.
• Soup lunches restart from 12 September
– 12–1.30pm
After a three-month break over the summer,
we’re really looking forward to meeting up
again every Tuesday lunchtime. The lunches
are a great opportunity to make new friends
and meet up with old ones and we’ve all
missed the camaraderie and conversation
they generate. For a suggested donation of
£2.00, everyone is welcome to come along,
draw up a chair at one of the long tables and
join us for a bowl of soup and lots of friendly
chat.

Chair Keep Fit – 9.45–10.15am
Millie from Tessellation Dance’s popular
chair keep fit classes are held on Tuesday
mornings in Church House, next door to the
Vestry Hall and opposite the front door of St
Dunstan’s Church. With a soundtrack of rock
’n’ roll hits from the 60s and 70s that raise

the spirits and the tempo, it’s impossible
not to “move to the groove”. Come along for
half an hour of laughter and gentle exercise
before moving next door for the weekly
Vestry Hall coffee morning. Suggested
donation for the class is £3.00.
• Trinity Café, Sissinghurst – third
Monday of the month
The Trinity café has been providing a
convivial meeting place for the older
residents of Sissinghurst for several years
now. They meet once a month in the Parish
Room and offer a delicious two-course meal
plus tea or coffee for £5. Trinity Café has
recently come under the CaDAC umbrella for
administrative purposes (see contact details
for Juliet Mellor in the box below).
Cranbrook and District Age Concern is looking for volunteers to help us provide our activities.
If you have time to join us for coffee (9.30am–12.00pm), lunch (11.45am–1.45pm) or at Trinity
Café in Sissinghurst we’d love to hear from you. There’s a rota system so volunteers can either
offer just one or two sessions a month or come every week. We have a great time and all really
enjoy being with such a lovely group of people. Contact Liz Ward on 07468 457878 if you’re
