Paty Eiffe Gallery Fund was established by Bettie M. Smolansky and funded through the generosity of friends and alumni of Moravian College. The purpose of the fund is to provide ongoing program enhancement for the H. Paty Eiffe Gallery at Moravian College. The Lillian Erdell Scholarship Fund The Lillian Erdell Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of Lillian Erdell. Wimmer ’76 The Jack and Karen Fry Scholarship Fund The Jack and Karen Fry Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of Jack and Karen Fry. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support for a deserving Moravian College student with documented financial need living in the Lehigh Valley. The Gilbert Archives Fund The Gilbert Archives Fund was established through the generosity of Daniel R. Gilbert Sr., Ph. D., professor emeritus of history. The purpose of this fund is to provide support to the Moravian College Archives. The Homer and Gert Graper Endowed Scholarship Fund The Homer and Gert Graper Endowed Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of Homer and Gert Graper, special friends of Moravian Theological Seminary. Hancock in honor of his wife, Marty, a trustee of Moravian Theological Seminary. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships for Moravian Theological Seminary students with documented financial need. The Mease-Sterling Scholarship Fund The Mease-Sterling Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of Robert E. and Martha B. Sterling in memory of George and Mildred Mease and Harry and Katherine Sterling. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support to Moravian College students enrolled in the Education Department. The Marvin C. Miles Scholarship Fund The Marvin C. Miles Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of Alma Anne Miles, Ph.D. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support for a deserving Moravian College student majoring in nursing or education. Zeiner ’57 The Regina-Weston Scholarship Fund The Regina-Weston Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of Joanne M. Regina ’83. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support to a deserving Moravian College music or psychology major, based on academic performance. The Alexander, Elizabeth, and Joann Trotsky Special Collections Fund The Alexander, Elizabeth, and Joann Trotsky Special Collections Fund at Moravian College was established through the generosity of Joann M. Trotsky ’64. The purpose of the fund is to provide funds to purchase items for teaching collections within the Moravian College Special Collections, intended for active and regular use by students and faculty in classrooms, research, or exhibitions.
A. B. C. d. E. f. ENdOWMENT The College and Seminary endowment continues to be an essential source of support for the institution. Total return for the year ended June 30, 2007, was a strong 16%. The Investment Committee made several significant changes to the endowment asset allocation targets during the year. The targeted allocation to alternative assets has been increased to 20% with 5% committed to two private equity funds. International equity has been increased to 30% from 15% while the allocations to fixed income and domestic equity have been reduced to 15% and 30%, respectively.
