STUDENT SERVICES ACCESSIBLE LEARNING Do you have a learning disability; medical or mental health condition; or visual, hearing, or mobility impairment? If you have documented disabilities, the Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services (CALCS) provides accommodations. MORE THAN BOOKS At our Libraries and Learning Centres you can: use our computers or borrow computing devices; experiment with 3D printing services; access our drop-in centres; and book appointments for tutoring support. TUTORING We offer free one-on-one and small group peer tutoring sessions if you are having trouble with a specific course or are looking to improve your English comprehension and communication skills. CAREER SERVICES From your first day of classes to two years after you graduate, you have access to Career Services. We provide everything from career planning to job search assistance, interview preparation, and more. CENTENNIAL COLLEGE STUDENT ASSOCIATION INC. (CCSAI) Run by students, this Association offers beneficial services during your time at Centennial that include a health and dental plan, free legal advice, student advocacy, and more. CLUBS AND INCLUSIVITY SUPPORTS Are you interested in meeting like-minded people? Want to learn something new? Looking for a social group? Student clubs available through CCSAI cover many interests. For example, the Black Student Collective provides Black students with support and opportunities for empowerment. The 2SLGBTQQIA+ Social Club creates a safe space for students who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or queer as well as those who are questioning or exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity. FITNESS AND ATHLETICS Get your heart pumping at our on-campus Fitness Centres, where you’ll find everything from equipment and workout facilities to classes and personal training. Interested in team sports? Join a recreational group or play for the Centennial COLTS on one of our competitive varsity teams. LEADERSHIP PASSPORT Gain a co-curricular credential that recognizes your leadership development. Complete each of the four associated journeys (Leadership Explorer, Leadership in Action, Leadership for Change, and Leadership for Success) to earn a Distinction in Leadership Certificate on your academic transcript. HEADSTART Once accepted, participate in headSTART.
