Notes: 1. Before taking this program, you should be aware
that under the provisions of the Ambulance Act of Ontario,
employment as a paramedic is prohibited to any individual who
requires an Ontario Secondary Diploma, or equivalent, and
who has: received six or more demerit points on their driving
record in the last year; had their driver’s licence suspended
in the previous two years; been prohibited from driving under
the Criminal Code of Canada within the past three years;
OR been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude
for which they have not been pardoned. 2. English, Science,
and Math assessment will not be accepted in place of the
English, Science, and Math requirements. 3. It is strongly
recommended that you have a high level of fitness when you
enter the program. 4. Additional requirements apply prior to

details. 5. All courses used for admission must have been
completed within seven years of the program start date.
