for AC Comics, ‘American Splendor,’ and
Greg Rucka’s ‘Queen & Country’ for Oni
Press. His remarkable talent did not go unnoticed,
earning him a nomination for the
Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer
Award in 2006 for his work on the Oni Press
graphic novel ‘Capote in Kansas.’
Samnee’s career continued to ascend as
he embarked on projects with DC Comics,

in the ‘Blackest Night’ crossover storyline.
