Negative Exponents
• Use the Quotient Rule of exponents
• Use the Power Rules of Products and Quotients
• Understand the meaning of negative exponents
• Use numbers scientific notation to estimate very large or very small quantities,
• Perform operations with numbers expressed in scientific notation, including problems where
both decimal and scientific notation are used
Dividing Polynomials
• Divide a Polynomial by a Monomial
• Divide a Polynomial by a Binomial using Long Division
Factoring Quadratics
• Factor trinomials of the form x2 + bx + c
• Factor trinomials of the form ax2 + bx + c
• Factor out the GCF of a trinomial before factoring the quadratic trinomial
