Panel Discussions and Generative Workshops<br />

Kyu, a collective of strategically curated<br />
creative organisations, will be convert<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Warehouse 46 <strong>in</strong>to “The Loom”, from 3 to 7<br />
<strong>December</strong>. A space where visitors can uncover<br />
how edges of leadership, storytell<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
<strong>in</strong>novation, and emerg<strong>in</strong>g technology can<br />
contribute to climate solutions. A series of<br />
workshops and panel discussions will take<br />
place, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g explor<strong>in</strong>g how a heart-centred<br />
connection to <strong>the</strong> planet can complement<br />
<strong>the</strong> necessary scientific perspectives<br />
often driv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> climate conversation. Kyu<br />
House Lates will also take place from 4 until<br />
6 <strong>December</strong>, 8 to 10PM, a night of short<br />
films, and conversation workshops.<br />
From Ink To Action Comic Initiative<br />
A collaboration between LICAF (Lake International<br />
Comic Art Festival) and <strong>the</strong> British<br />
Council (MENA), From Ink to Action (9-22<br />
<strong>December</strong>, Warehouse 58) seeks to <strong>in</strong>spire<br />
environmental consciousness through <strong>the</strong><br />
power of comic art, by exhibit<strong>in</strong>g 12 new<br />
comic books created by regional artists<br />
that address issues related to <strong>the</strong> climate<br />
crisis. The ‘Parallel Programme’ <strong>in</strong>cludes a<br />
kids workshop on 7 <strong>December</strong> at Thejamjar<br />
with one of <strong>the</strong> participat<strong>in</strong>g artists, and a<br />
dialogue session on 10 <strong>December</strong> with <strong>the</strong><br />
Lakes International Comic Art Festival director.<br />
‘Fashion for <strong>the</strong> Planet’ with The Edit<br />
In <strong>the</strong> Green Zone <strong>in</strong> Expo City Dubai Pavilion,<br />
founder of Avenue community member,<br />
The Edit, Rumana Nazim will be curat<strong>in</strong>g<br />
an exhibition highlight<strong>in</strong>g fabrics for <strong>the</strong><br />
planet, from 6 to 8 <strong>December</strong>. A panel discussion<br />
will be held on 8 <strong>December</strong> at Expo<br />
City Dubai, with Rumana as <strong>the</strong> Moderator<br />
with <strong>the</strong> speakers be<strong>in</strong>g designers from India,<br />
<strong>in</strong>dustry representatives, and experts<br />
