a bit too tired or uncritical, you open to read one — and 

suddenly your life savings is gone. This is the current wallet 

experience for many people.

But why are these drains even possible? This will be easier 

to understand with 3 examples: 1. The Bitflip Attack: You 

sign a txn, and the bad actor is able to alter a state in 

the smart contract(which you approved) from inactive to 

active. 

Because there is a 2 minute window before transactions 

expire, the bad actor can toggle this state on. Then he 

sends the transaction to the network with the malicious 

smart contract now in an active state. 

Not only that — but bad actors are on the ground posting 

scams under tweets, and preying on people in Discord. 

More recently, they’ve begun forming affiliate groups 

where they teach others the skillset for a cut of the profit. 

It would not be an overstatement to say that this is one of

There’s a new hack going around where they don’t just drain you: They swap ownership of your wallet at the program 

level.

How we can combat these rampant scams which cause so 

much damage to our industry? Enter Lighthouse — a smart 

contract which is called within your Solana transactions, 

and protects you by failing txns with unexpected changes. 

Imagine you agree to send 0.01 SOL, and the website 

attempts to take the entire contents of your wallet. In that 

case, Lighthouse would fail it as the wallet simulation must 

match the objective outcome of the txn. 

And the best part is that it does so without disrupting the 

user experience. In the case where a transaction does not 

return an expected outcome, it will fail and the wallet will 

inform the user of this behavior. But it does not require 

any sort of input from the user. 

Yet, the overall vision transcends wallet drains. Once the 

initial goal is achieved of having Lighthouse adopted by all 

the wallets (it is open source) There are aspirations to turn 

its sights towards furthering public goods & security on 

Solana for everyone.

Presenting a glimpse of our Premium offering—a preliminary demonstration involving our compact test model 

predicting $Bonk ‘s price approximately 8 hours into the “future” (red) versus the actual price (blue). The test 

model’s potential is evident. 

Our approach involves leveraging the preceding hours 

of data, feeding it into the model, and projecting hours 

ahead. The forecast maps trends, offering strategic 

turning points for advantageous trading. 

It’s crucial to note that this is an unoptimized iteration. 

Extensive work lies ahead in terms of validation, 

hyper-parameter tuning, and model selection. One can 

only envision the possibilities when applied to every 

mid or large-cap token, accessible at your convenience. 

This exemplifies the essence of Time Series AI—identifying 

optimal leverage points within charts to extract 

maximum signal. The example data selection is of past 

prices of bonk and this is only our test model which is 

far less capable than our production models. 

This week marks a significant breakthrough for us, 

centered around refining our embedding layers. The 

precision of embedding time series data into vector 

space directly correlates with the extraction of meaningful 

signals. 

Our model, affectionately referred to as a “Frankenstein 

monster,” adeptly retools open-source foundation 

models. Notably, our 30M parameter models have 

demonstrated competitiveness against Google’s 200M 

parameter model. 

Now, we have a model that is more than 100x smaller 

than our 2.7B parameter model and is about to enter 

production. We performed many hyper-parameter iterations 

to get decent gains. Then we made a stepwise 

gain by modifying the architecture of our embedding 

layers. 

This tiny model is better and faster than our large model. 

We will be stepping up the model size of this new 

architecture to make it even more powerful but expect 

an unannounced upgrade very soon. 

We will initially be doing classification, but the speed 

of this new model should allow us to bring our premium 

services online faster than previously anticipated.

Farcaster Adds Solana Address Support 

With all the new entries into the decentralized social 

game, Farcaster has made a lot of noise with a lot of 

Crypto Twitter folks making the move. Now they’ve 

added Solana wallet address support which opens the 

door to Solana apps and Frames (See an NFT Minting 

example in the Quick Hits section below) on the Farcaster 

platform. 9,328 unique Farcaster FIDs verified a 

Solana address within 24 hours of the announcement. 

Rome: Introducing Rhea and Remus 

In Issue #26 I shared the announcement of Rome 

Protocol, a shared Solana sequencer for EVM Rollups. 

The introduction of Rhea and Remus APIs as core 

components are a step forward in bringing the functionality 

and utility of rollups to the Solana ecosystem. 

Rhea is designed to enable Solana to function as 

a shared sequencer for executing rollup transactions, 

and Remus is an API designed to enable atomic execution 

of cross-rollup transactions. 

Encode x Solana Hackathon Winners & Summary 

The 4-week Encode x Solana Hackathon finale allowed 

participants to showcase the projects they 

developed over the month. Participants had the 

chance to engage in several Solana workshops by the 

Solana Foundation, Codigo, Ironforge, and SolanaFM.

parsed transactions access to millions of deciphered, 

non-voting transactions from Solana Mainnet-beta 

from September 2023.

What is $GH0ST 

We are the first SPL22, a meta-protocol (not a standard) 

built on top of SPL20 & Token Extensions (formerly 

known as Token2022). SPL22 falls into the 

“Hybrid DeFi” class that combines tokens and NFTs 

powered by @libreplex’s underlying framework. 

However, SPL20s still use MetaPlex Metadata as a 

“shortcut” to accelerate this larger goal, this allowed 

them to be instantly compatible with the entire Solana 

ecosystem such as DEX’s and NFT marketplaces. Without 

this growth hack, the SOLS explosion would have 

never happened. 

Our founder @aklo360 was an early & active member 

of the Libre community where he contributed to 

the conception of SPL20 alongside @solkekw and @ 

NeftWorld in Nov ‘23. LP’s mission was to create an 

open-source NFT standard to compete with MetaPlex 

& remove protocol level fees. 


SPL22 marked the transition away from MetaPlex metadata 

entirely, replacing it with Solana’s new native Token 

Extension Metadata. This removed the 0.023 SOL mint fee 

on every NFT, saving nearly 500 SOL for a traditional 21k 

supply SPL20 launch. https://solana.com/solutions/token-extensions… 

We replaced this mint fee with our own 0.02 SOL fee strictly 

for the purpose of crowdfunding a healthy LP immediately 

upon launch. This solved the low liquidity issue all 

SPL20s have suffered from. We launched with ~420 SOL of 

liquidity on

the only Token22 DEX. 

This combined with the BRC20 style 100% public fair mint 

(like all SPL20s) led to one of the most successful fair 

launches to date on Solana, with some of the healthiest 

distribution & TVL to market cap ratio seen in web3. No 

team allocation, no pre-sales, no VCs or whitelist. 

Our supply is 21M consisting of 21k NFTs each containing 

1k tokens. Holders can bridge back and forth between 

each asset type at any time, unlocking all new functionality 

for both the NFT and DeFi ecosystems while simultaneously 

bridging the separate markets / demographics.

By wrapping your tokens into an NFT it effectively locks 

them out of circulating supply on the fungible side, making 

it scarcer to DeFi enjoyers. Conversely, distributing tokens 

below the 1000 per wallet threshold effectively makes the 

NFT supply deflationary. #HybridDeFi 

With Hybrid DeFi you have all the benefits of a fungible 

token, such as being able to buy as small as $1 worth or 

less of exposure or liquidity provision with yield, PLUS the 

benefits of NFT wrapped tokens such as 0% slippage & 

sizable OTC trading without negative price impact. 

This combined with a strong core value creates a positive 

feedback loop of demand and community loyalty. We 

also try to further incentivize this flywheel ecosystem by 

rewarding our NFT holders ONLY with free airdrops, access 

to quality mints & more i.e. our PFPs cGH0STS. 

We called $VICE (200x) and $WOO (20x) mints in our NFT 

holder discord channel for our actively engaged community 

members. But we are no “alpha group” we are a truly 

decentralized, grass roots culture coin & community with 

shared values, goals and incentives.

We’ve done everything so far with virtually 0 capital & our 

founder has given away more of his personal algo back to 

his OG @pxpushers community than he’s kept for himself. 

This all started as a free mint experiment & proof of concept 

to disrupt the “cabal” private presale model. 

Although we have no official roadmap and only volunteer 

devs, we continue to push for ecosystem advancement 

towards a more fair and decentralized culture. We’ve been 

experimenting on Solana for over two years now as we feel 

it will be the blockchain to onboard the masses. 

Our name is GH0ST because when we first launched no 

wallets or explorers supported TEM, we were INVISIBLE

We mainly role played as fast food workers, shared 

alpha, got on calls, and tried to navigate these new waters 

together. We also used @holaplex to mint some 

NFTs and airdrop them to employees. 

Autumn of 2021 Solana NFTs Were still new, Degods 

had just minted. And Bean and Fungi started @ 

MickeyDegods about a month later as one of the first 

Sub-DAOs for Degods 

I have been an artist for 20+ years and I teach Art classes 

as a side hustle. I hadn’t done a lot of “Digital art”, 

but I was fascinated by NFTs 

After @beeple blew up, I discovered Blender and I 

knew there was something there. Animation, 3D modeling.

Spring 2022 

@Beanthatgotaway and @kindafungible had an idea - A 

pitch Deck. A Triple Dust Mint. $DUST was brand new and 

had no utility at the time. The vision was amazing, customers 

could mint like they were ordering at a restaurant. 

Customers could combine (burn)3-5 items together to 

make a combo which would stake for $DUST We had hella 

DUST from the mint and we used a good portion of this 

buy more @DeGodsNFT which helped us farm even more 

DUST.

5-piece combo, for a small upcharge you will get an I.O.U. 

to do a 1/1 Special Fry with me, the famous Potato Picasso. 

We design it together and it stakes for DUST later.

call, here’s one.

Soul Scanner. 

It’s another telegram scanner/sniping bot. Recently 

released their sniping aspect. There are plenty of telegram 

bots, but the buyback/burn mechanism should 

help the price continue to stabilize and rise. 

If you look at the chart, they might be doing periodic 

buyback/burns, not sure, but the chart is super predictable. 

550k market cap. 

Bottom is maybe 250k. 

Top could be super high if it gets more widely adopted 

and the burn keeps burning from more transactions. 

Can be compared to FluxBot, which is an insane market 

cap, because they have the right partnerships. 

The team is devving enough to have already formed 

minor partnerships with some memecoins like HONK, 

whereby a percentage of the burn is allocated to buy/ 

burn HONK. 

They have a working product for scanning the safety of 

tokens (soul scanner) The sniper was recently launched 

(soul sniper). Same token... $SOUL. 

They are continuing to iterate. I hate telgram bots, but 

this one looks heavily undervalued. I don’t know how 

it could go lower than 250k, so if you are comfortable 

with 50-60% downside, and much higher potential 

upside, short term, here’s a bet for you. 

I’m betting on it. Don’t need to say high risk again, but

Why I’m selling my last @okaybears NFT. Why @okaybears 

is dying. 

You’ve definitely heard of @okaybears. They’re 

arguably one of the most recognizable PFPs on Solana. 

Generating a whopping 3.3M $SOL in secondary trading 

(potentially 164,000 $SOL in royalties), it’s easily 

been one of the most successful projects on Solana. 

Until now... 

As if it wasn’t clear enough that @okaybears wasn’t 

strong enough to support adding additional NFTs to it’s 

fan base, the Team decided to add another 9,999 NFTs 

on the Ethereum chain in the form of @okay_dogs, 

which are now below mint price and liquidity is severely 

lacking. 

What happened? Greed. Enter @decimals_xyz and @ 

okay_dogs. You may not have heard about Decimals. 

It’s @okaybears attempt *cough cough* at expanding 

to the Bitcoin chain. To mint, you needed to have 

multiple items, including a Boombox (at the time was 

selling for 40 $SOL). 


The @okaybears Team claims that they wanted to expand 

to Ethereum to reach a new base of holders. Instead, what 

happened was most of the WLs for @okay_dogs were 

given out to Okay Bears holders in the least economically 

incentivized way. How? Enter Allowlist. The Disaster. 

The @okaybears Team thought of the worst method to 

allocate WLs that has ever been conceived: Why don’t we 

incentivize people to sweep our Original collection, then 

make it really difficult to obtain a WL, and then give a ton 

of the WLs out to the public? Enter paperhands. 

Once you obtained your WL, there was no incentive to 

hold your @okaybears NFT. Many people instantly floored 

after they received their WL. 

And given any degen could obtain a WL for @okay_dogs, 

instead of people with actual money, it provided degens 

an opportunity to flip.

And this leads me to my main point. Why are we trying to 

expand the “community” if the overall sentiment is that 

there’s little incentive to hold @okaybears. 

@kaisisokay, a co-founder, even mentioned that focusing 

on FP wasn’t important to him at all. Well, congrats! 

So here we are... all #Three (ironic) collections underwater 

thanks to the Team’s genius idea to save a struggling 

collection by diluting existing holders to raise more money 

for... themselves? This brings up a huge problem. What has 

the @okaybears Team ACTUALLY delivered? 

This has been a wild journey, but one question remains: 

Are @okaybears gonna be #Okay? 

In short, some cool objectives, but very little reason for 

holders to stay holders in my opinion. Clothes in Zara OKB 

Merch (RED) Collabs Charitable Fundraisers All great stuff, 

in my opinion, but what is the incentive for holders to 

hold? This is where the Team has failed.
