journey through its landmark collections, starting with the groundbreaking “WAVES.”<br />
WAVES: Riding the Digital Tides<br />
On September 24, 2021, Playground, under the Twitter handle @Playground_Sol, embarked on an artistic voyage<br />
like no other. WAVES, their inaugural collection, was launched with a singular mission: to bridge the gap between<br />
traditional art and the world of NFTs on the Solana blockchain.<br />
WAVES, a dynamic generative art collection, comprised 1000 unique pieces, all brought to life by the artistic<br />
genius of Chris McCann, known on Twitter as @Mccannatron. These mesmerizing digital waves drew inspiration<br />
from the ever-shifting crypto markets, incorporating elements such as Bollinger Bands, wave theory, and moon<br />
math charts.<br />
Playground made history as the 2nd collection to debut on Raydium’s innovative DropZone NFT platform, captivating<br />
collectors with its lottery-style drop. An astonishing 18,885 applications poured in, all vying for a chance to<br />
mint one of the coveted 1000 NFTs.<br />
