The officers prepared and facilitated workshops
of: authenticity, balancing priorities,
communication and FFA opportunities – in order
to provide the first-year FFA members with
skills they would use both within and outside of
FFA. The goal was to engage FFA members in
learning about the tools that would allow them
to be successful in anything they are part of
through high school and beyond.

Sunshine hosts fall

locally produced fare
Sunshine Learning Center showcased
what Iowa has to offer at a Farm-to-Table
event last September.
The fundraiser included a meal with

Food at the event came with information about its origin. Volunteers prepare for a local
Farm-to-Table feast. Fresh local food is plated and ready for a diner. Kale and tomato salad
was one of the locally sourced courses on the menu.
