Darfield Tyres, formerly known as Bridgestone Darfield Tyre Centre, has recently undergone a change in ownership.<br />
Having spent over 30 years servicing the local community for all their tyre needs, trusted retiree Peter Beattie is passing<br />
the baton to family owned Neumanns Tyre Group.<br />
Neumanns Tyre Group is a well-established family run business that has been operating in Mid Canterbury since 1945.<br />
Evolving from a modest tyre shop in Ashburton to its now network of 15 branches across the South Island. The familyowned<br />
business has grown exponentially over the years; however their emphasis has always been on maintaining their<br />
core founding principles of providing quality products and<br />
five-star service.<br />
Vincent Neumann, co-owner, speaking on behalf of the Canterburyowned<br />
business says, “We are equally committed to maintaining the<br />
high standards Darfield customers have come to expect. Our goal is to<br />
build upon the strong foundations set by Peter and his loyal team and<br />
that is to deliver exceptional tyre service to the region. Backed by our<br />
long-standing history, we plan to leverage our expertise to enhance<br />
the tyre buying and servicing experience for our customers. We are<br />
thrilled that experienced tyre technicians, Ross, Mark, and Roger are<br />
remaining in the team, allowing uninterrupted service as we find our<br />
feet. We will further support the hard working team by growing our onfarm<br />

nearing on 31 years, Ross likely<br />

them. When asked about his<br />
favourite aspect of the job, Ross<br />
replied, “helping my customers<br />
get back to what they need to be<br />

When he’s not fighting fires for the local fire brigade, Roger is your<br />
go-to man for tyres and tyre servicing. Roger ensures all tyres are<br />
meticulously inspected and serviced, guaranteeing safety and<br />
reliability on the road for every customer.<br />

Chances are you are already familiar with well-known community<br />
stalwart, Mark Beattie. With over two decades of experience in the<br />
tyre industry, Mark’s passion and enthusiasm for his work comes<br />
from the dynamic nature of the field and variety of tyre issues he is<br />
faced with each day. Beyond tyre servicing, you might spot Mark<br />
