paid $635,000 in 2021, while in <strong>2024</strong>, the<br />

Many buyers are still in the process<br />
of selling their properties before they<br />
can purchase their next one. This<br />
means that conditional on-sale offers<br />
are contributing to longer selling<br />
times. Recently, Jolene assisted a seller<br />
whose sale was dependent on selling<br />
four other properties as well. Although<br />
good communication and organisation<br />
were key to completing this settlement,<br />
many sellers are worried that they may<br />
not find a home to buy once they sell.<br />
However, an experienced agent can help<br />
settle on both properties simultaneously<br />
or negotiate special conditions on the<br />
seller’s behalf to get them the best deal<br />
at the right time. Jolene recommends<br />
negotiating an extension of your<br />
settlement period to increase the chances<br />
of achieving simultaneous settlement.<br />
