That’s what it pretty much what it comes down
to… the outcome. My Auron cosplay was all
handmade…only with skills I learned from
middle school. I made my props with whatever I
could buy on the cheap and winged it with no
previous experience. But my later cosplays, I
had to buy because work and life in general.
From the time of your first cosplay to the
present… what was the most rewarding experience
or thing you got out of cosplaying?
I really love how creators create. You can
make a giant gun with a 3D printer which is so
amazing but you can also make this big giant
gun with the help of PVC and foam. Or even
the craziest thing what if we make something
with empty toilet paper rolls. It’s so neat!
When I work with commissions it is because
we should support our costume/prop makers.
Cause they can make so stuff I’m not even
skilled for.
Ooofta, this is a hard one. I’ve gained a lot is
far but for me it the people you meet, the
places your encouraged to travel and meet with
folks that inspire me and you meet new people
too. Where as outside of it you may have not
met those people and made new friends!
Plus the merchant / artist halls are so beyond
anything I can find in Colorado local stores. M.
I pay homage to them for the help of building
to my sailor moon room.
