FROM HUNDESTED TO KIKHAVN -
SEA VIEWS AND BEECH FOREST
From Hundested Station, turn left and follow Jernbanegade towards the harbour. Turn right at
the first main street, Nørregade. Turn left onto Nordre Beddingsvej. Cross Strandvejen. Follow
the edge of the harbour basin past the playground and to the left towards the ferry lanes.
Turn right and pass Havnekiosken. Between the dunes and the yellow houses, turn onto the
path and walk along the beach. Cross the parking lot and turn left onto Skansevej. Turn left at
the fortifications onto the paved cycling/walking path signposted to Knud Rasmussen's House.
The path ends, turn left onto Knud Rasmussensvej. Take the gravel path (and route 47 sign) on
the other side of Spodsbjerg Lighthouse. Follow the path. The path ends at a gravel road and a
large thatched farm. Here, turn right onto Kattegatvejen. Where the road ends, turn left onto
Vestre Stræde, later Kikhavnvejen. Be careful, there may be some traffic on the road.
At the main road Nøddebovejen, cross straight over. Continue on Torupvejen and turn into the
forest. There are two paths to choose from. Both paths end at a wide gravel path, turn right.
Follow the path, keep to the right so you end up at the parking lot and the asphalt road. Cross
straight over Ullerup Skovvej. Pass the nature playground and follow the path to the edge of
the forest. Turn right. Follow the edge of the forest until the path turns into the forest. Walk 50
meters along the ditch. Turn left onto the wider forest path. You will pass the enclosed dog
forest. Turn right and walk between the dog forest and a parking lot to the tennis courts. Turn
left out of the forest and past the bonfire hut on your right. Continue past the small lake, the
path ends at the sports facility's parking lot. Walk along the fence of the fields to Stadionvej.
Turn right and walk to the end of the road. Here, turn left onto Lille Karlsmindevej. The road
ends in the center of Hundested. Læssevejen leads to the station.
