STUDENT POLICIES
The student organization must submit its request to the Office of Student
Life, with a description of the event and the speaker’s or performer’s
qualifications. If the event will be promoted to students, faculty and
staff, and not to an external audience, the Office of Student Life reviews
and approves it. The Office of External Affairs approves all events with
other than a campus audience.
Communication with Government Departments
Contact or correspondence with a government official or department
such as a municipality or ministry must be approved and initiated by the
Office of the Vice President. Students or student organizations wishing
to communicate with government officials or departments must secure
prior permission from the Office of External Affairs.
Prayer Room
You are expected to pray in the prayer room provided by the University
and not in classrooms.
Textbooks, University Equipment or Property
The University provides you with textbooks and other University
equipment to assist you in your studies. You are expected to return
these items undamaged. If you lose or damage university textbooks,
equipment or property, you will be required to pay for their replacement.
An Administrative Hold will be placed on your academic transcript until
payment is made. While there is a Hold on your transcript, you will not be
permitted to register for courses, gain copies of your transcript, access
your grades, or graduate from the University. Any Hold must be cleared
before graduation.
Laptop Computer
You are required to purchase a laptop computer for use throughout your
