Flying
In the summer of 1940, the Luftwaffe devastated the British with its raids on RAF fighter bases. Then, one
pilot, confused and off-course, dropped his bombs on London, igniting what became known as the Blitz.
Hitler's plan inspired the British to acts of heroism never before seen in the annals of warfare. In "Hitler's
Flying Blunders" Hitler's henchman, Hermann Goering built the mighty Luftwaffe around his Fuhrer's
concept of Blitzkrieg - lightning fast shor range fighter bombers used in support of highly mobile ground
forces. Learn how this strategy ultimately went awry, rendering the famed Luftwaffe useless and leading
to its destruction.
Lion
By 1942, Hitler had driven his former allies, the Russians, far into their homeland. Victory appeared
imminent but Hitler wanted to take Stalingrad at all costs. He underestimated both the brutal Russian
winter and the steadfastness or the Russian people in the face of the Nazi threat. In " Operation Sea
Lion" Hitler's only remaining adversary in northern Europe, the British, were all but beaten. Now was the
time to crush England but an invasion was inexplicably postponed. Certain Nazi triumph became a string
of missed opportunities that ultimately led to the Allied victory.
