The Bazaar and Silent
Auction resulted in over
$3900.
Our thanks to all
volunteers, members and our community for these
outstanding results.
Tourtière
This was a big undertaking, as our oven did not
work properly. All volunteers who made pastry and
worked completing orders deserve a medal, our
thanks to all!
Tai Chi Christmas Lunch
The Lunch Team prepared a Christmas Luncheon
for several members of Tai Chi (61 in total) at $6
per head (note that this was a special request from
the group) Many compliments received about the
luncheon. Thanks to all our volunteers!

Special Luncheon, “Robbie Burns” with sing a long
in the library by our “Song Spinners” Chorus at
11:30 am. Tickets will be available the week of
January 3 rd , 2011.
March 8, 2011
You are invited to our “Pancake Brunch” on Tuesday,
March 8th, 2011 from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
Tickets will be available January 25 th , 2011.
Due to the cost of food, etc. it was passed by our
Advisory Board that special luncheons in 2011 will
be increased to $12 including tax.
Pancake Brunch will also be increased to $8,
including tax.
As of December 31 st , 2010, I will be resigning as
the Fund Development Chair. An appointment to
replace me was made at our Advisory Board
meeting. My successor will be Jan Mowbray who
is appointed Chair until March 30 th , 2011, when
she will be running for the positiom of Fund

Development Chair for 2011/2012. I will still be
convener of the luncheons and Quiche in 2011.
My thanks to all who have helped me over the many
years, to make our fundraising so successful.
My best wishes to our new Fund Development Chair.
I encourage our team to continue volunteering on the
Fund Development committee and with the help of
other members of our centre, we will have a great
team.
