Stewart Hearn of London Glassworks was honoured with the title
Master of Ceramics & Glass.
Stewart, who has been blowing glass for nearly 30 years, combines
traditional skills with contemporary design throughout his work.
Popular pieces include his Oval Encalmo bowls which appeal both
as a decorative object and a functional item. The simple form and
colour of the bowls disguises a complicated glass blowing technique
originating from Italy.
