Candidate Statement<br />
To increase the value of <strong>ASID</strong> membership - Let members know all of the<br />
services that already exist for them, about the new programs in place or in<br />
development, continue momentum with increased member involvement and<br />
enrichment programs appropriate for each Region and Design Community,<br />
member surveys for feedback, exit surveys for non-renewing members and<br />
increase public and trade awareness about <strong>ASID</strong>.<br />

Sally Dinsmoor, <strong>ASID</strong><br />
El Paso Community Chair<br />
A graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.A degree in Interior<br />
Environment. She is the principal in Sally Dinsmoor Design Commercial<br />
Interiors in El Paso, <strong>Texas</strong>. Sally’s predominant areas of practice are corporate,<br />
industrial, hospitality and healthcare interiors. Recent projects of<br />
note include designs for the El Paso Holocaust Museum, Geske’s Fire Grill<br />
Restaurant, and Automated Data Processing, Inc. Sally has been working in<br />
the design field for over 25 years.<br />
Irene Stanley, <strong>ASID</strong>,<br />
El Paso Design Community Treasurer<br />
Irene was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. Irene attended school in<br />
Berlin, Vienna and El Paso, TX . She attended UTEP where she majored in<br />
Liberal Arts and Languages. Irene met her husband in Austria although he is<br />
originally from Midland, <strong>Texas</strong>. Irene’s husband is a well known and well<br />
respected architect in El Paso, where he has designed many schools and corporate<br />
buildings. Irene has worked with her husband doing the interiors for<br />
his buildings for over twenty five years.
