a 360° panoramic view from our
observation deck. The primary
aim of this show of birds of prey
and owls is to let people have a
closer approach to these fascinating
animals and to transmit
some knowledgeable facts
about them. In a demonstration, lasting about 45 minutes, you will
experience our free flying birds of prey and owls in the upcurrent of
the famous Landskron Castle. After breathtaking flights the birds
return to the falconer standing just in front of you. Behaviour and
habits of these endangered species are explained in detail.

Obir Stalactite Caves

The fascination of the Obir
Stalactite Caves is due to the
unequalled mix of natural and
man-made beauty and to the
symbiosis of a history of 200
million years and modern technology.
The caves were discovered in 1870 when miners were looking
for lead and zinc. All the miners were interested in then were the
underground tunnels created by nature because they made entry
into the mountain easier and faster.
Today we look in awe at a miracle; an underground world opened up
to us for a short moment. Carefully orchestrated illumination lights
up absolute darkness. Music breaks through the silence.
