of Klagenfurt
Our today’s tour will take us to the most beautiful places in
Klagenfurt. To get to Carinthia’s capital city you might even take
the boat, because we will meet at the landing stage at 11.45 am.
We start our excursion walking uphill to the Zillhöhe, passing
Freyenthurn and the vineyard. On top of the hill we will be rewarded
with a fantastic view of Lake Wörthersee. We continue our
walk towards the Kreuzbergl which offers a great view of the city
of Klagenfurt. The Schweitzerhaus, a famous restaurant, is the
perfect place for a break. Afterwards we walk back to the landing
stage in Klagenfurt. Our walking time will be approx. 3 hours and
we have to overcome a difference in altitude of approx. 200 m.
