Carinthian Ravioli and<br />
Panoramic Walk<br />

The farmer’s wife will meet us at the fire station in St. Egyden. We<br />
just follow her for about 5 minutes to safely get to her farm. After<br />
presenting the farm she will start to explain how to make curd<br />
cheese, one of the most important ingredients required to produce<br />
the world famous Carinthian style ravioli, called ‘Käsnudeln’. Under<br />
her guidance you will learn how to make this local speciality. Then,<br />
we let the ravioli cook and climb up the ‘Rupertiberg’ hill to<br />
enjoy the breathtaking<br />
panoramic view of the<br />
Rosental valley and the<br />
Karawanken mountain<br />
range. Our last stop will<br />
be at St. Lucia’s Church.<br />
The total walking time is<br />
about 1 hour. After returning<br />
to the farm, you will be<br />
rewarded with delicious<br />
Carinthian style ravioli.<br />
