Dr. Milena Head (Coach)<br />
Dr. Milena Head is a Pr<strong>of</strong>essor <strong>of</strong> Information Systems at<br />
the DeGroote School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong>, McMaster University.<br />
Specialising in e<strong>Business</strong> and Human Computer Interaction,<br />
she has published over 75 papers in academic journals, books,<br />
and conferences. Milena has also held various administrative<br />
positions at the DeGroote School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong>, including<br />
Associate Dean, <strong>MBA</strong> Director and Research Centre Director.<br />
Milena is a strong proponent <strong>of</strong> the case methodology, having<br />
heavily incorporated case-based learning in her classes and<br />
having been a coach for <strong>MBA</strong> students, preparing them for<br />
various national case competitions.<br />

Amena Khan (Competitor)<br />
Following an undergrad honours degree in Psychology, Amena<br />
worked and traveled for a year before she ventured into the<br />
<strong>MBA</strong> Coop Program at the DeGroote School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong>. She<br />
has a passion for innovation and new technology and believes in<br />
the power and impact it can have in shaping the world. Amena<br />
always strives to go beyond the bureaucratic views <strong>of</strong> business<br />
functionality and ties a lot <strong>of</strong> her lessons learned in business<br />
with stories, which she then publishes on her blog. Amena<br />
is an avid writer and enjoys other hobbies such as travelling,<br />
astronomy, cultures, acting and cinematography.<br />

Julia Marcu (Competitor)<br />
Julia Marcu is a first-year student in the Co-op <strong>MBA</strong> program<br />
at DeGroote School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong>. She recently graduated with<br />
an Honors Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Commerce at McMaster, where she<br />
undertook the responsibility <strong>of</strong> running several events and<br />
committees for the DeGroote community, as well as being a<br />
teaching assistant. She continues to be actively involved and is<br />
currently the teaching assistant for <strong>Business</strong> Policy and Strategic<br />
Management, a fourth year commerce class. She hopes to<br />
utilize her business knowledge and personal charisma to enter<br />
the field <strong>of</strong> consulting upon graduation.<br />

Rahul Rahul (Competitor)<br />
Rahul Rahul is a graduating <strong>MBA</strong> Co-op student at McMaster<br />
University. Prior to his <strong>MBA</strong>, he did his undergraduation in<br />
Electronics and Communication engineering and worked<br />
for two years at a Japanese technology conglomerate, NEC<br />
Corporation. During his first Co-op work term, he worked in<br />
Product Management and Finance area at a telecom firm that<br />
was going public and got interested in Finance and subsequently<br />
worked for RBC and TD Securities in his other Co-op work<br />
terms. He enjoys cooking and reading newspapers in his free<br />
time.<br />

Trevor Simpson (Competitor)<br />
Trevor Simpson is a first-year student in the Co-op <strong>MBA</strong><br />
program at DeGroote’s School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong> at McMaster<br />
University. During his undergraduate degree in Commerce he<br />
completed the ICAO accredited CA courses as well as studied<br />
and travelled in Australia on exchange. He plans to pursue a<br />
double major in Finance and Management <strong>of</strong> Innovation and<br />
New Technology at DeGroote to further diversify his business<br />
knowledge. Outside <strong>of</strong> school Trevor enjoys snowboarding,<br />
playing hockey and golf, and spending time with friends and<br />
family.<br />

Michael (Terry) Shan (Alternate Competitor)<br />
Terry is a first year Co-op <strong>MBA</strong> student at the DeGroote<br />
School <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong>. He has lived in Beijing China for many years<br />
prior to studying in Canada and this experience has helped him<br />
to understand the value <strong>of</strong> international exposure in today’s<br />
economy. After completion <strong>of</strong> his Biochemistry undergraduate<br />
degree at McMaster, Terry decided to further his education by<br />
pursuing an <strong>MBA</strong> degree, looking to specialize in Finance. In his<br />
free time, Terry enjoys reading the news, going to the gym and<br />
photography, notably he was the president <strong>of</strong> the McMaster<br />
Photography Association during his undergraduate degree.<br />
