Patrol News
The patrols are doing a fantastic job! We have been working very hard to keep our
school safe. The patrols enjoyed at great morning at Wheelies Roller Rink as a thank
you for all of their hard work so far this year.
Just a reminder as the weather has now turned much colder, we are continuing to encourage all
patrols to dress for the weather. Please have your child wear a warm jacket, mitts, scarf, hat, ski pants
and boots when they are on post.
Additionally, please ensure that your child is on post, on time to continue to ensure the safe crossing
of students coming and going to school.
Music Notes
Before School: 8:25-8:40 AM
Lunch: 11:35-11:45 AM and 12:25-12:35 PM
After School: 3:30-3:45 PM
Music students are busy, busy, busy, and it will continue this way until May. First,
on Thursday, Dec. 13 th is the Winter Concert. The K-2 students are performing a mix
of songs and poems involving penguins and snowmen. Grades 3-5 are performing
Snow Biz! Show times are 1 pm and 7 pm.
We have just completed a busy fall as well, 8 of our students took part in the RESTD
WSO concert on Oct 29 th . Band students headed to Camp Arnes on Nov 5-6 th to hone
their playing skills and we have just completed our 2 nd fund raiser.
We’d like to welcome Cheryl Jackson to the BWCS music department. She is filling in
for Mrs. Jenson, who is on maternity leave.
