Grade 7 Boys Volleyball Team
This year's volleyball season for the Grade 7 boys began in early September
and ended November 26th. Our team played in a series of mini-tournaments
throughout the school division. In addition, they participated in
two invitational tournaments and represented our school very well. As the
season progressed, not only did our players develop fine volleyball skills but
they displayed excellent sportsman-like qualities as well.
On behalf of our team, we would like to thank all of the parents who
supported our team throughout the season. It was greatly appreciated!
I would like to encourage all of our players to continue to play volleyball
in the near future. It was an absolute pleasure coaching this year's team and I wish them all the
best!
Sincerely,
Ms. L. Vizza
Grade 7 Girls Volleyball Team
The grade 7 girl’s volleyball team was a huge success this year. For some girls, this was the first time
they had played competitive sports. Others were veterans who had played sports competitively for
years. One thing they all had in common was none had ever played volleyball at this level before. It
took a few practices before they understood the rotation, but after that, things went well.
Between all of the mini-tournaments, our home tournament here at BWCS, and our tournament at
John Gunn, I can say that all the girls had fun, and so did the coaches. We enjoyed watching the girls
grow from a team that always bumped the ball over the net, to a team that could use three hits and
even spike the ball. Congratulations grade 7 girls on a great year!!
