Food and Drink Highlights We are delighted to announce a blend of super new caterers and some old favourites to look after you even better. New menus and offerings have been devised after your feedback, to give even better choice and value with the same high quality, award-winning food. Choice is the name of the game at our bars this year, There’s a range of beers and ciders from our sponsors, Skinner’s, Butcombe and Brains and Bridge Farm Artisan Cider, Crewkerne. In the front line, we have the excellent, fast and efficient Anchors Away teams at the Ham Hub and Bulverton. At Blackmore Gardens, you will find the Last Minute Bars team. The HUB on the Ham Dartmoor Kitchen at the Festival: Tom Cull’s award winning team, from just down the road at Clyst St. Mary, are our new main caterers at the Ham, providing a wide range of delicious and reasonably priced food. Their ethos, rooted in the best of local, sustainable produce and the highest standards of cooking, shows through in the lovely food that they provide. Devon Coffee: All you could wish for in coffee, teas and cakes. Goodness Gracious Healthy Foods: The UK’s leading vegetarian events caterers for 23 years. Barry Tiffen even won ‘Healthiest Food’ award at the Electric Picnic in 2008. Salcombe Dairy’s Ice Cream Parlour: Ever-popular Salcombe Dairy sells superb handmade ice creams, made with real Devon Double Cream and inventive desserts. Look out for floats in 2012. Crazy Crepes: Robert and co. are back with varied, flavourful and authentic crepes. Anchor HUB Bar: The Anchors Away ‘A’ team, led by Matt, will be there to look after you, with beers, cider, wines and soft drinks. The Bulverton Secret Ingredient Catering! The Tex- Mex experts: Newcomers from just down the road in Exmouth, Deirdre and Dan bring their delicious burritos, nachos, etc and even a hint of burgers to the Bulverton cognoscenti With the Festival Clubhouse starting at 7pm, we invite you to make an evening and night of it! Take advantage of the Early Bird Special food prices from 7–8pm while the entertainment kicks in. Later on, the traditional LNE menu will also be available. Eat and drink at Bulverton to make it a great night. (Sadly not catering on Friday 10th.) Anchor Bulverton Bar: Matt’s other ‘A’ team will be serving you fast with a variety of Skinner’s, Butcombe, Brain’s Festival Ale, Bridge Farm ciders, wines and soft drinks. Take advantage of Early Bird Special prices between 7–8pm. Blackmore Gardens Kenniford Farm Blackmore Café: Andrew Freemantle’s Clyst St Marybased team are bringing their ‘family café under canvas’, selling baguettes, pasties, tarts, rolls, soups, cakes, drinks and Devonshire cream teas. Salcombe Dairy’s Ice Cream Parlour: delicious ices for small and big children in the Blackmore. The Creperie: Sonia’s stunning crepes for all the family with a huge variety of delicious fillings The Electric Lemon; Where Henry’s solar power meet pleasantly traditional recipes to produce fab fresh drinks from a fun, child friendly, colourful cart Blackmore Marquee: Last Minute Bar: The usual charm and good looks from the LMB team. With their unique style(!), these volunteers do a great job in creating a special atmosphere in the marquee bar. Festival Campsite Campsite Shop: stocks all the essentials plus food. Open morning and evening. FolkWeek Souvenir Shop STOP PRESS: Internationally recognised artist/designer David Owen has produced new designs for our festival wear, just for Sidmouth FolkWeek. In the shop at the Ham, you will find our great T-shirts (standard and fitted), Polo shirts, bags and badges, together with a variety of postcards, mugs and other items. page 59
