Obige Tabelle zeigt den thermischen Vorteil, den verdrillte Kabel aufweisen. Bei<br />

gleichem Querschnitt und gleicher Last werden verdrillte Kabel weniger warm als<br />

die Kabel mit runder Oberfläche (Aussenmantel). Grund ist die bei verdrillten<br />

Kabeln grössere Oberfläche, über welche die Wärme abgestrahlt werden kann.<br />

In the table, it can be seen, that for identical copper size and same load, the twisted<br />

cables have a lower core temperature than the single jacket composite cables. The<br />

reason is the bigger surface for heat dissipation.<br />
