A versatile linebacker who can play multiple positions, Cam<br />

Johnson was named Third-Team All-ACC in 2010 after registering a<br />

career-high 53 tackles and ranked sixth in the league with 6.5 sacks.<br />

Johnson led Virginia in both sacks and TFLs in each of his final two<br />

seasons.<br />

Johnson spent the first 15 weeks of the season on the team’s practice<br />

“When I was five years old, he enrolled me and I’ve been playing<br />

ever since.” Off the football field, his other passion music. “I like any<br />

kind of music that’s good. I can literally pick something out in every<br />

type of genre and just listen to it.”<br />

• Since being drafted by the 49ers, Johnson has gotten involved in<br />

the teams community events. “I love being involved in anything I can<br />

do to help reach out to the community and give back,” Johnson said.<br />

He’s assisted at the team’s Build-A-Bike Event, Thanksgiving Food<br />

Drive and the Linebackers Toy Giveaway. “Just seeing the joy on<br />

people’s faces and just knowing that I can help them simply by being<br />

there and showing support is a very fulfilling thing.” Since moving<br />

to the Bay Area, Johnson has been embraced by the 49ers Faithful.<br />

“You can really feel the energy about the team,” he said. “The people<br />

here really love football and love the 49ers. Everywhere you go,<br />

you get that vibe and energy that football’s the number one sport.”<br />
