Mainstream Publications
Just to clarify, when I say mainstream, I’m not talking about Perry Como music. Mainstream is any sort of
music that isn’t too far “out there.” That’s not to say that publications in this section won’t listen to all types
of music, but they are more likely to enjoy Rock, Pop, Indie Rock etc. They are less likely to go for the
Death Metal, Industrial, Hardcore etc….although some will accept those styles.
Most of the newer music review sites are in MP3 / Audioblog format. Make sure to check out the MP3 /
Audioblog area in SECTION SIX of this directory. You’ll find hundreds of blogs that will feature your music
in a variety of ways, including reviews along with audio and video clips. Several of them also do
interviews.
