Digital Music Sites
Getting your music onto the sites listed in this section varies a great deal cost-wise. Many
services will allow you to upload your files for free, while others charge a fee or percentage
from each sale that you make. Be wary of large setup fees. Many of the Online Digital Stores
deal only with Digital Distribution Services such as CD Baby or The Orchard to get their indie
music. I have indicated which stores deal only with Distributors throughout this Section. There
are also many Audioblog sites listed that will post your music (if they like it) for a week or two in
order to help promote your music. You will also find many social networking sites in SECTION 7
