VII LITERARY CONTEST
“You will never find it…”

Imagine yourself in this situation: your
car has broken down in the middle of
nowhere and you don’t know exactly
where you are. How could you describe
your position to the road assistance’s provider?
This is what has actually happened to
one of our clients: during one of my
afternnon shifts, the phone rings, I
answer the line, and I hear a man’s voice
asking for help. His car had broken down
somewhere on the National Road. He
didn’t know the exact km, he just knew
he was on one of the two largest
ADVERTISING
National Roads of Greece, near Athens,
and so I connected him with one of our
providers.
They started talking and I stayed on the
line, as usual, hearing their discussion.
After some time, the provider hadn’t been
able to figure out exactly where the client
was.And suddenly, the provider asked the
magic question: “Can you tell us
something characteristic that you see
around?”
And the client answered:“Well, let’s take
a look….oh, yes, there’s a big
advertisement sign right above me, which
says: DON’T SEARCH! YOU WILL
NEVER FIND IT!”.
Guess what happened next: At the same
time, the client, the provider and me burst
into laughter!!!
Fortunately for the client, the provider
found him after all.
Oops, I forgot to mention the story’s
moral. Here it is:
