<strong>Tampere</strong> is Finland’s theatre capital where there’s something on all year round.<br />
The Pyynikki summer theatre provides a perfect opportunity to experience the magic<br />
of the nightless night. Rotating stands take you from scene to scene, set against the<br />
natural backdrop of a glittering Lake Pyhäjärvi and the handsome old pines lining a<br />
ridge formed by the ice age.<br />
The high point of summer is the annual <strong>Tampere</strong> International Theatre Festival, which<br />
offers highlights of the season from Finland and beyond.<br />
Between September and May it’s well worth visiting the TT or TTT Theatre or the<br />
<strong>Tampere</strong> Comedy Theatre to enjoy modern Finnish performances and international<br />
