Summer tour<br />

In summer, from 13 June to 31 August,<br />

a sightseeing bus leaves from in front of<br />

the tourist information office daily at 2<br />

p.m. with the exception of Midsummer<br />

20-21 June. The 90-minute tour is a<br />

comfy and convenient way to see the<br />

best of <strong>Tampere</strong>, the most beautiful lake<br />

and ridge scenery, the most impressive<br />

architecture and the main sights.<br />

The tour has English and Finnish<br />

language guidance and includes visits<br />

to <strong>Tampere</strong> Cathedral, Kaleva church,<br />

<strong>Tampere</strong> Hall or the Metso library.<br />

There’s no need to book in advance.<br />

You can book a <strong>guide</strong>d tour on wheels<br />

any time of year. You can see the city in<br />

taxi, or in summer from a street train or<br />
