Economics of Kautiliya Shukra and Brihaspati.pmd

Plato and first economist is Adam Smith but very few of them have
any knowledge about the contribution of oriental economic thinkers.
In this study economic ideas of Brihasapti, Shukra and Kautilya have
been discussed briefly, in fact, too briefly. But this small study is the
evidence that discussions were held in those times on economic issues
widely and intensely. These ideas reveal that socio-economic
advancement is not a monopoly of any particular race. Rather it is a
wealth of mankind.
