SMOKING AND ALCOHOL POLICIES<br />
Smoking is prohibited in all public areas on campus including<br />
(but not limited to) classrooms, auditoria, restrooms, dining halls,<br />
hallways, lobbies, elevators and lounges.<br />
Alcoholic beverages may be possessed and consumed by<br />
individuals 21 years or older within their room or apartment<br />
only. The campus is considered a public area, therefore, open<br />
containers are not allowed. Alcoholic beverages served at<br />
social functions are by permit only and must be arranged in<br />
advance by <strong>Clarkson</strong> program directors.<br />
RECYCLING ON CAMPUS<br />
In 1992, recycling became mandatory in St. Lawrence County.<br />
Paper, metal and certain recyclable plastics must now be<br />
separated by the user and deposited in dedicated bins adjacent<br />
to each residence hall. Clear plastic bags must be used for<br />
recyclables as well as garbage. Address any questions about<br />
this process to the Residence Life Office.<br />
ATHLETIC FACILITY RESTRICTIONS<br />
<strong>Clarkson</strong> Summer Pass or <strong>Clarkson</strong> <strong>University</strong> ID will be required<br />
to use all facilities. Children under 18 years <strong>of</strong> age must be<br />
accompanied by an adult. Special arrangements are made for<br />
<strong>Clarkson</strong> program participants to assure admittance.<br />

RECREATION EQUIPMENT<br />
Equipment for s<strong>of</strong>tball, football, volleyball, ping pong, badminton,<br />
basketball, racquetball, and tennis is available at the Fitness<br />
Center Desk.<br />

Campus Dining will bake their favorite cake, trim it with your<br />

If you’re going <strong>of</strong>f campus for a lunch or dinner meal, Campus<br />
Dining can provide you with a delicious and nutritious box lunch.<br />
