A really lovely new hybrid tea that looks certain to be popular.<br />

Large classic well formed blooms of ivory with deeper centres.<br />

Nice neat compact growth with healthy mid green foliage.<br />

Plenty of blooms from late spring until the first frosts.<br />

A robust rose with an attractive perfume.<br />

Also known as 'Berenice'<br />

Named for the Commonwealth Games Council.<br />

Long pointed buds borne on upright stems opening into blooms of<br />

elegant form in , lovely clear rose pink.<br />

The classic shaped blooms produced singly or in clusters. make this<br />

rose ideal for cutting.<br />

Dead head regularly for the best results. As with most <strong>Hybrid</strong> <strong>Tea</strong><br />

CRIMSON GLORY<br />

<strong>Hybrid</strong> <strong>Tea</strong> Rose. 1935. 2ft-3ft<br />

A lovely old HT with large globular blooms of deep velvety<br />

red.<br />

The blooms are produced in flushes throughout the season<br />

For many years this rose was the most reliable dark red large<br />

flowered rose available and is still very popular.<br />

It was once described as the greatest red <strong>Hybrid</strong> <strong>Tea</strong> of its<br />

time and caused quite a stir in the rose world due to its fantastic<br />

colour and perfume.<br />

Many rose breeders have tried using it as a parent rose, the<br />

most successful result being the very popular 'Ena Harkness'<br />

It is a bushy variety with vigorous slightly spreading growth and dark green leathery leaves.<br />

Very prickly but makes a great budding rose, plus the bonus of a very pronounced , strong damask fragrance.<br />

Bred by Kordes in Germany.<br />
