TOWER BRIDGE (Harovis)
Hybrid Tea Rose. 1995. 2ft-3ft
Beautiful large blooms of deep purple-red.
The flowers have a lovely old fashioned look which are full of petals with
quartered centres.
The bush puts a lot of effort into the first flush which is quite superb,
which means there is a bit of a break until the next blooms, but after that
it maintains a good display through the rest of the summer and autumn.
A tall upright and healthy plant which makes a great cut flower as the
blooms last well when cut.
Can grow anywhere in the garden, but best to plant it near a path to enjoy
the superb perfume.
Definitely one for the flower arranger.
This beautiful rose was named to celebrate the centenary of the opening of London's famous landmark.
TROIKA (Poumidor)
Hybrid Tea Roses
Hybrid Tea Rose. 1971. 3ft-5ft
A remarkable award winning rose that can grow to 6ft in a warm situation,
Superb orange-copper blooms with red outer petals in a classic form.
The blooms can be very large and are often 6ins (10cm) wide.
Flowers all summer and into autumn with a good repeat cycle.
Large healthy dark glossy foliage on a vigorous upright rose that is an
excellent bedding rose.
Put at the back of the border in a warm spot and enjoy watching it
grow to a fair height.
A lovely perfume.
Also known as "Royal Dane" 1971
Introduced as Troika into the UK 2007
TWICE IN A BLUE MOON (Tan96138)
Hybrid Tea Rose. 2003. 3ft-4ft
A newer version of the ever popular" Blue Moon".
Very similar in appearance but stronger, easier to grow and more disease
resistant.
The colour is the same, but the whole bush looks stronger and healthier.
Undoubtedly our best selling 'Blue Rose'
Like the old one the perfume is superb.
