WENDY CUSSONS
Hybrid Tea Rose. 1963. 3ft-5ft.
Hybrid Tea Roses
'Wendy Cussons' bears fully double, cerise splashed with scarlet
blooms which are evenly distributed over the whole plant and very
attractive.
They are high centred and large, with 30 petals, and the foliage is
glossy and dark on a well branched plant.
Health and vigour are strong points of the bush, and in warmer climates
if can grow above expectations.
It is an ideal plant in cool areas with climates that hinder vigorous
growth and promote the full intensity of the beautiful flowers.
Flowers all summer and into autumn providing the weather allows.
A lovely and popular rose which is also very highly perfumed.
