Retirements of one key post a holder is scheduled in<br />

2010/11, the Senior Car Parks Inspector. A second key<br />

post a holder, Brian Kohl the Property Services<br />

Manager, is scheduled for retirement in 2011/12. A<br />

further 8 post holders are due to retire in the three year<br />

period (2010/13).<br />

Three posts to be filled in the Recycling and Refuse<br />

Service to support the service and growth in service.<br />

Two of these posts have been taken out of the budget.<br />

The Principal Engineers along with a second junior<br />

management post have also been removed from the<br />

budget.<br />

It is expected that the duties of the post currently<br />

occupied by Jenny Thomas would be absorbed by the<br />

current team, unless additional duties are added to the<br />

team.<br />

All other posts will be replaced through the normal<br />

recruitment methods.<br />

Principal Engineer.<br />

Project and Performance Support Officer.<br />

None, as there is a hold on recruitment for all vacant<br />

posts.<br />

Should the current situation change then the Principal<br />

Engineer will probably be recruited through a<br />

recruitment agency.
