The ADT on display was driven by a
10.5-litre 270kW Liebherr D936LA6
diesel engine, which conforms
with Stage IIIA / Tier 3 emission
limits; Stage IIIB / Tier 4 interim
will start at the end of 2012.
Terex MPS show two of the
latest modular products
Terex MPS was exhibiting
two machines on their
stand - the Modular MC1000
and Modular MJ42 jaw.
The Terex MC1000 cone module
handles an all-in feed for continuous
crushing. Its 1,000mm (40in) cone
has unrestricted feed opening and
a full range of configurations for
short and long throw. The all roller
bearing design improves crushing
efficiency. Additional features include
hydraulically adjustable closed side
setting, easy manganese changes,
and a weather-protected control
panel with user friendly controls.
The Terex MJ42 jaw module features
the rugged JW42 jaw crusher with its
hydraulically actuated wedge system
that allows closed side settings to be
made quickly and easily. Additional
features include a three-piece
boltless hopper and spring-mounted
vibrating pan and grizzly feeder. The
modules are designed to fit and
work together interchangeably.
UK debut for Terex
Finlay 684 tracked
mobile inclined screen
Hillhead saw the UK debut of the
Terex Finlay 684 inclined screen.
It’s a compact, easily transportable,
highly versatile and adaptable
machine engineered and built
for working in quarrying, mining,
construction and demolition debris,
topsoil, recycling, sand, gravel,
coal and aggregate applications
The new screenbox on the 684
features three full size 4.3m x
1.7m inclined decks giving a large
screening area of 21.9 square metres
to provide efficient screening and
high capacity. The screenbox features
quick wedge tensioning, access
holes and a bottom-deck hydraulic
tensioning system to reduce time
required for mesh changes.

making it the ideal machine for
contract screening. The fourth
product ‘oversize plus’ conveyor
can work at varying angles to
accurately discharge material for
recirculation and stockpiling
Successful Show for
Rapid International
Rapid International enjoyed a
successful three days at the show,
with visitors from home and abroad
keenly interested in the range of
mixers and mobile batching plants.
Equipment on display from its award
winning product portfolio included
a Rapidbatch 120, which greatly
reduces transport and installation
costs and is easily set up on-site
with no foundations required.
Other products on show from Rapid
International included a planetary
concrete mixer and a high pressure
concrete mixer washout system.

New Series from Hyundai
Heavy Industries
Hyundai Heavy Industries Europe
presented a range of equipment,
including the release of some
of the first models in their new
range of -9A Series excavators
and wheel loaders, alongside a
selection of other established
models in the ever-expanding
Hyundai range of excavators, wheel
loaders and mini-excavators.
The existing -9 Series excavators and
wheel loaders are firmly established
in all major markets with a strong
reputation for reliability and value
for money. Building on this position
of strength, Hyundai have begun
an update programme which will
see the introduction of the new -9A
Series. The most significant change
in this programme is the introduction
of EU Stage IIIb-compliant diesel
engines, with their reduced exhaust

construction industry debut
The Volvo FH16-750 made its UK and
Ireland construction industry show
debut on the Volvo Construction
Equipment stand where a 6x2 tractor
unit was on display together with two
high-spec Volvo FMX 8x4 tippers.
