Marley Hire take delivery
of new NC Dump Trailer
NC Engineering of Hamiltonsbawn in County Armagh have recently delivered one of their new powertilt
300 Series dump trailers to Marley Hire in Portadown where it is already earning its keep.
It’s the second NC dump trailer
added to the Marley Hire fleet
and features a new advanced
tail door system now known
as the ‘magic tail-door.’
The door’s unique design allows
the 14 tonne dump trailer to
be used with or without a taildoor,
but it is always there when
required at the flick of a lever.
“We’re delighted that this
new series of dump trailer is
proving so popular, especially
among contractors and those in
agriculture,” says NC Engineering
Director Wilfie Carson. “Because
the tail door is part of the trailer
it is extremely safe and less
susceptible to accidental damage.”
And added Tony Marley: “It is a
fabulous piece of equipment,
well-constructed and finished
and very popular with our hire
customers, particularly farmers.
excellent aftersales support
down through the years.”
All NC dump trailers are
constructed using 8mm floor
plates supported by the optimum
number of floor runners, to stand
up to the rigours of constant
loading and unloading. Even
the side panels are extra thick
massive continuous horizontal
and bulge supports, with the
chassis design optimised
using the latest Computer
Aided Design technology.
The careful positioning of the
body pivot point ensures a
maximum height of discharge,
enabling the operator to stock
pile top soil, or whatever with
are absolutely delighted to
have won this business, which
cements a relationship going
back a number of years.”
the minimum of ease. The trailer
is designed wider and lower for
better stability, hence making
it easier to load with a rubber
tyred or mini track digger, also
the body can be scraped clean
using a 6ft or 1.83m bucket.
The 300 series is one of four
The new 300 Series Dump Truck
example, has the added benefit
of a front door which folds
