Inkjet coatings
TenCate is presently working on the development
as launching customer in the field
of inkjet coatings for technical textiles, and
the Osiris technology can form part of this
too. An additional advantage is that Osiris
is located in the East Netherlands region,
which facilitates the optimal deployment
of human capital in all developments in
this field. Furthermore, the recently opened
Open Innovation Center Advanced Materials
(OICAM) can mean a strengthening of
knowledge in the field of inkjet technology.
Trial production and sampling will be carried
out within OICAM in order to create new applications
in cooperation with partners. Moreover,
inkjet technology is not necessarily applicable
solely to textiles; these advanced coating
processes are suitable for other materials too.
