Combination roughing / Combination finishing<br />
With combination roughing and combination finishing, division of the whole cutting width<br />
is produced by offsetting the cutting edge axially and radially. This should allow the ensuing<br />
cutting forces to be better distributed and produce an even cutting result.<br />
With the roughing operation, this allows double the cutting width<br />
(using only a single feed rate f=fz)<br />
With the finishing operation, the cutting width is divided so that some of the intermediate<br />
<strong>machining</strong> can be omitted.<br />
With long chipping materials, improved chip control is achieved by means of division<br />
between axial and radial cutting.<br />
With long projection lengths, great operational smoothness is achieved.<br />
