So much love I have known<br />
The love of an Aunt<br />
Her strength<br />
Instilled in me<br />
Warrior she was<br />
Death did not take her<br />
But liberated her<br />
From infirmity and pain<br />
My Nana<br />
My savior<br />
My Mother<br />
Keeper of my dreams<br />
I have known<br />
Many<br />
Countless<br />
Loves<br />
But the love of a man<br />
I’ve yet to know<br />
Had I looked sooner<br />
I would have seen<br />
The love of God<br />
Pervading in me<br />
Through my<br />
Music<br />
Family<br />
Friends<br />
God has loved me<br />
Always<br />
So yes,<br />
Love surrounds me<br />
Each and every day<br />
And maybe<br />
I have yet to encounter love<br />
With a man<br />
In it’s purest form<br />
But I know my one true love<br />
God<br />
Will provide<br />
If<br />
I continue to seek<br />
Within myself<br />
And remain conscious<br />
Of Her love<br />
Around me<br />
