Programa <strong>de</strong> Adiestramiento 2003<br />
La curva <strong>de</strong> IPR varia con el recobro acumulado <strong>de</strong> fluidos <strong>de</strong>l<br />
yacimiento y con el mecanismo <strong>de</strong> producción. Vogel <strong>de</strong>sarrolló en un<br />
computador un estudio <strong>de</strong>l comportamiento <strong>de</strong> afluencia utilizando las<br />
aproximaciones <strong>de</strong> Weller. Weller <strong>de</strong>rivó ecuaciones para <strong>de</strong>scribir<br />
los perfiles <strong>de</strong> presión y saturación en las cercanías <strong>de</strong> un pozo<br />
perteneciente a un yacimiento subsaturado <strong>de</strong> hidrocarburos.<br />
Con estas ecuaciones, Vogel consi<strong>de</strong>ró diferentes draw-down, fluidos<br />
y propieda<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> rocas y obtuvo una curva para las relaciones Pwf/Ps<br />
y Q/Qmax cuya expresión matemática general es la siguiente:<br />
Q / Qmáx = 1 – 0.2 x (Pwf / Ps) – 0.8 x ( Pwf / Ps) 2<br />
Esta expresión es conocida como la “ecuación <strong>de</strong> Vogel” y se utiliza<br />
para yacimientos produciendo por <strong>de</strong>bajo <strong>de</strong>l la Presión <strong>de</strong> Burbujeo.<br />
La figura abajo mostrada representa la IPR para un yacimiento<br />
subsaturado.<br />
