Enla tabla 5. puede observarse que tienen una eficacia media del 6% sobre el tOlal de reflexiones demro delas salas. Para impedir la aparición de dichas rellexioncs pe rj udiciales. debe procurarse que las mismasprese nten revestimientos absorbcnles y/o formas que impidan la ap;lrición de posibles ecos en las fiJ:lS deasientos delanteros.Se ha observado que las conchas acústicas incrementan el nümero de rellexiones lotales que se dirigenhacia las salas una media del 35%. al reduci r drástic;lInente las que se pierden dentro del volumenescénico.
