English1112Reverb Stealth User ManualShorten the hoseTo remove excess hose, please visit www.sram.com/en/service for Reverb hoseshortening instructions.re-attach the RemoteUnthread the hose coupling plug from the hose/housing.Hold the hose by hand near the hose barb, then turn the remote assembly clockwise tothread the hose barb into the hose. Thread the hose barb into the hose until it stopsturning and there is no visible gap between the hose and the base of the hose barb.Reverb Stealth User Manualinstall the remote (MatchMaker X)Remote - Install the remote bracket nut in the channel onthe inside surface of the remote clamp. Position the remotebracket on the outside of the MatchMaker X (MMX) clamp andinstall the MMX bracket bolt. Use a T25 TORX® to torque thebracket bolt to 3-4 N·m (35-44 in-lb).Brake lever - Position the brake lever against the handlebar.Close the remote clamp around the handlebar and brake lever.Insert the remote clamp bolt and loosely tighten the bolt to holdthe assembly together. Rotate the remote clamp to the desiredposition and use a T25 TORX to tighten the clamp bolt to5-6 N·m (43-52 in-lb).255-6 N·m(43-52 in-lb)25English3-4 N·m(35-44 in-lb)13install the remote (discrete clamp)Close the remote clamp around the handlebar. Insert the remote clamp bolt and use aT25 TORX ® to loosely tighten the bolt to hold the assembly together. Rotate the remoteclamp to the desired position and tighten the clamp bolt to 5-6 N·m (43-52 in-lb).Shifter - Attach the shifter to the remote bracket with theshifter mounting bolt. Use a T25 TORX wrench to torque theshifter mounting bolt to 2.8-3.4 N∙m (25-30 in-lb).
